wut up! I am do this and i have a 5500a and a 5500d(hair pieces for slayer) and that is all that is there. When I try to merge them they disappear when i clicked on the one i merged it to. I saved the file and everything but when i went to DFO my dude was bald. what am i doing wrong? Do i need to have the a,b,c,and d parts to make it work?

Oh and 1 more thing i know i am being a noob but how do you take a snapshot of DFO so i can show everyone my ava when it is done?

when u merge ur ava u need to make sure that u merge the right layer on top
also it sounds like when u saved or w/e u said u did u may have hid the file thats what makes the ava disappear theres no need to save the the file after u swap it once its swapped it will stay where it needs to be

when u r trying to switch ur default avas some characters cant swap all parts for instance slayers cant swap a default face or hat thers nothing there to swap
f gunners can tho
u can swap on a slayer ur default top ,pants ,shoes, skin, hair,
not sure about torso and waist

most computers the screen shot button will be just above the f10 key or 1 of ur f- keys

i figured it out b4 i read this but you did help me with the part about cant change it if you dont have it part. I found out that if you have a face, or a waist item that you already have on your ava then you can change it. Thanks for the Info! I am going to try to post a pic of my ava.

Oh and by the way other people cannot see this right? I mean i remember seeing something that said that the other people in the game will only see me the way i regularly look Right?

In a game their is a set list of files the game reads. So all you did was swap a and b on "You'res". Meaning wen you read that file it's changed. Now if you see someone else with You're original avas they will be swapped on others as well. Like you swao you're hat from black to red it swaps everyones. But only you can see it unless they swap their files the same way as you.

tl;dr only you can see it no one else can.
